Stockholding Notification of the Renova Group and Sulzer Ltd
Renova Group Increased its Shareholding in
Sulzer Ltd to 31.2%

The Renova Group informed Sulzer Ltd that it has increased its
shareholding from 27.1% up to 31.2%. The combined shareholding
of Renova and Sulzer, which are considered to be a group for the
purpose of disclosure of shareholdings, is 34.4%.

In accordance with the ordinance of the Takeover Chamber of the Swiss
Federal Banking Commission (SFBC) dated May 29, 2008, Rz (40) to
(50), the Renova Group and Sulzer Ltd are to be considered a group for
the purpose of disclosures of shareholdings within the meaning of Art. 15
SESTO-FINMA.
On March 27, 2009, Renova informed Sulzer Ltd that it had agreed with
the issuers of the two previously announced Swaps on the following:
• Spot and share forward transaction in connection with an equity swap
transaction regarding 534'190 Sulzer shares (ISIN CH0002376454) between Renova Industries and Nexgen. • Spot and share forward transaction in connection with an equity swap transaction regarding 870'000 Sulzer shares (ISIN CH0002376454) between Renova Industries and ABN.
Pursuant to the Swiss Federal Act on Stock Exchanges and Securities
Trading, the following combined shareholdings are disclosed.
