RULES AND REGULATIONS
K-97 “Derrick Dodge’s Hard Working Vehicle”
No purchase necessary. To enter, send a photo of your vehicle’s odometer via the entry link under the Derrick Dodge Hardest Working Vehicle contest list at www.k97.ca. Entry must include photo of your odometer, with make/model of vehicle and full contact info (full name, address, and contact number). One entry per person, per vehicle. The Contest is open to all residents of K-97 listening area (Edmonton metro and rural area) eighteen (18) years of age or older, excluding employees of K-97 FM, New Cap Radio, its parent company, affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies, participating sponsors and any persons residing in their respective households, and must have a valid Canadian Passport. Contest entry is open from Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 12am MST until Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 11:59pm MST. K-97 and Derrick Dodge will draw a winner from all entries received at approximately 7am MST on Monday, May 28, 2012. The “Grand Prize Winner” will be notified by a phone call from K-97 Morning Show Announcers Terry, Bill & Steve or the K-97 Promotions Department on the following days: • Monday, May 28, 2012 during the 9:00am hour (Mountain Time). In order to claim the “Official Grand Prize”, the selected entrant must first have correctly answered, unaided, a time limited, mathematical skill testing question posed at registration. The selected entrant will be required to sign a release and waiver form before being declared the winner. K-97 FM judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of the Grand Prize.
The Grand Prize must be accepted in its entirety and as awarded.

Chances of winning each week are is dependant on the number of people who enter the draw.
Some restrictions on some of the prizes awarded may apply. Only one "entry" per household is
allowed. If the identity of an Official Qualifier is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-
mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the Official Qualifier. The
individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail
address is considered the authorized account holder. An Official Qualifier may be required to
provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with
the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be
identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of
receipt of a valid entry in this contest will be the contest server machine(s).
All decisions of the judges are final. K-97 FM reserves the right to modify these official rules as
necessary.
All entries become property of K-97 FM who assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed,
damaged or misdirected entries or for failure of the website during the promotional period, for
any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line
systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic
congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or
damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or
downloading any material in the promotion. K-97 FM reserves the right, in its sole discretion; to
cancel or suspend the email portion of this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the
reasonable control of New Cap Radio corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest.
Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this
promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, K-97 FM
reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including
criminal prosecution.
No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants.

All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit
means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by K-97 FM.
K-97 FM takes no responsibility for lost, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for
typographical or other production errors.
By entering this contest, each contestant consents to the use of his/her entry, name, and city of
residence and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by K-97 FM and/or its advertising
agencies, without further compensation. Winners consent to their photograph being taken by K-
97 FM for such use, without further compensation.
K-97 FM is collecting personal data about entrants for administering this Contest. In addition,
please note that this information will be forwarded to Derrick Dodge, as per the contest entry
form. Derrick Dodge may use this information to contact entries regarding various deals,
contests, etc at Derrick Dodge.
This contest will run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by K-97 FM.
Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood
the rules if they participate in the contest.
The terms of this contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-
offer, except as set out herein.
