Prior experience in dancing or singing is NOT required.
The Dances of Universal Peace are an interfaith tradition of sacred dance and spiritual practice dedicated to
peace, within and without. They integrate folk dance movements with sacred phrases, chants, and music from the
world's religious and spiritual traditions.
Yasmin Germaine Haut is a gifted teacher of the Dances of Universal Peace. She comes to us from her home in
Pennsylvania, USA, with the experience of many years of dancing and teaching the dances. She is a member of the
Mentor Teachers Guild, a group of senior dance leaders who train and certify new teachers of the dances.

Lunch break
Location: St. James Anglican Church (10 Union St.), corner of Barrie and Union Streets, Kingston. Please use the
Barrie Street entrance. Signs will be posted. Free on-street parking.
Cost: $35.00. To assist our planning, please pre-register and send cheque (payable to “Kingston Dances of Universal

Lunch: We will eat together in the dance hall. Lunch (vegetarian sandwich, drink, etc.) will be available at a cost of
$10.00 (pre-order below) or you may bring your own.
Note: You are also welcome to join us for our regular dance circle Friday Oct. 19, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at St. James
Anglican Church. Yasmin Haut is our guest leader. Donation requested.
