One injection of intraar-ticular corticosteroids was permitted in phase 2 of the study,and the injected joint would be excluded from subsequentefficacy assessment. Standard topical treatments for psoriaticlesions (e.g., topical steroids) were permitted, provided theyremained stable throughout the study. Therapy with psoralenultraviolet A was not permitted.
