Asset Management and Program Engineering
Responsible for implementation of technical programs such as those associated
with major assets (e.g. reactor vessel, steam generators), safety related valves, piping integrity, and heat exchangers.
Responsible for maintaining design integrity of the plant. Typical job assignments include plant modifications (equipment replacement and upgrades), design analysis, and calculations.
Responsible for fuel loading analysis, core monitoring, and reactor operations.
Responsible for al aspects of system performance, which includes a keen focus
on equipment reliability, system trending, and troubleshooting. Plant Engineers interface regularly with al work groups on site including operations, maintenance, work management, radiation protection, and chemistry.
Responsible for implementation of programs such as radiation survey,
instrumentation, personnel dosimetry, and controls to maintain personal exposure as low as reasonably achievable.

Grundy Education/Industry Partnerships Summer Internship Student
A Grundy Education/Industry Partnerships Summer Internship student must agree to the classroom and work policies as stated below:
1. When I am absent from work because of il ness or emergency, I understand that I must cal my supervisor at work
and my coordinator and inform them about my inability to be at work. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action or removal from the job.
2. I understand that if I am scheduled to work on a holiday, I should honor my commitment to my employer.
3. I must conduct myself appropriately at al times. To be considerate, cooperative and congenial with al persons at al
times. I must be aware at al times that I represent my parents, employers, school and myself in my behavior.
4. I understand that I must be dressed appropriately for my job site. I also understand that I must assume the
responsibilities of a regular employee and observe employment regulations in regard to reporting to work and in keeping with general regulations on the job. Student and Employer wil be responsible for fol owing al OSHA safety regulations.
5. If a job situation becomes unpleasant for me for any reason, I wil inform the coordinator immediately and give al
the details. I understand that my training comes under the supervision of the coordinator and that I am not on my own with the job site.
6. I understand that I must maintain a B average in al subjects including the specific skil ed area during the school
year to be eligible for summer placement.
7. I understand that I am not covered by or eligible for unemployment benefits.
