Mobilux EP 111 is an extra high performance grease primarily designed for lubrication of all designs of couplings. It is specificallyformulated to resist centrifugal separation of the oil from the soap thickener at extremely high rotating speeds, ensuring effectivelubrication and protection against wear even in heavily loaded misaligned gear couplings. Mobilux EP 111 is a lithiumhydroxystearate grease formulated with an extremely heavy, viscous mineral base oil. Mobilux EP 111 also contains an oilsoluble molybdenum additive, as well as a very effective corrosion inhibitor. It is an NLGI 1 Grade grease.
In addition to being used in a wide range of coupling designs, Mobilux EP 111 can also be used in low-speed open gearing andplain bearings. This grease has shown excellent performance and protection in a wide variety of coupling applications covering abroad range of industries. Based on its longstanding performance capabilities, this grease has become the product of choice formany users.
The Mobilux brand of products is well known and highly regarded world-wide based on their very good performance over anextended period. The excellent qualities of one of these lubricants in this family, Mobilux EP 111, have made it the choice ofmany users.
Mobilux EP 111 enjoys an excellent reputation in the lubrication of all types of heavily loaded couplings in a wide variety ofapplications. Mobilux EP 111 is designed primarily for high speed coupling applications, and offers the following advantages and potentialbenefits:
Extended coupling protection and coupling life: less
Very good viscometrics and wear protection
Less oil leakage and reduced lubricant consumption
Long grease life and longer intervals between relubrication
Maintains grease performance even in presence of water
Mobilux EP 111 is recommended for all types of heavily loaded lubricated couplings. Mobilux EP 111 has a recommendedoperating temperature range of -10 to 120º C. Mobilux EP 111 has performed very well in the following applications:
Gear and grid couplingsSpring and slipper joint couplingsSpindle (gear) and chain couplingsLow speed open gears and plain bearings
