CLEAR LIQUIDS FOR THE REST OF THE DAY - AS MUCH AS DESIRED! Drink at least 8oz of clear
(no pulp) liquids (any color except blue, red, or purple) every hour you are awake.
At 3:00pm, take four (4) Dulcolax tablets with 8-oz of clear liquid. Continue clear liquids hourly until bedtime. **CLEAR LIQUID DIET -- ONLY THESE FOODS ARE ALLOWED THE DAY BEFORE THE PROCEDURE: DO NOT DRINK LIQUIDS OR EAT JELLO OR POPSICLES THAT HAVE RED OR BLUE DYE. ANY JUICE YOU CAN SEE THROUGH AND HAS NO PULP IS ACCEPTABLE. Soups: Clear bouillon, broth, or consomme (chicken, beef or vegetable) Beverages: Tea, Coffee (without cream/milk), Kool-Aid, Carbonated beverages, Gatorade, Crystal Light, All Sport, vitamin water, flavored water Juices: White Cranberry, Apple, White Grape, Strained Lemonade, Limeade, and Orange Drink (all pulpless) Dessert: Water Ices, Italian ices, Popsicles, Jell-O NOT ALLOWED: Tomato juice, orange juice, milk or any dairy products, any juice containing pulp, canned soups, alcoholic beverages, nothing in or on Jell-O.
